If you get the speakers optimised for midrange treble and depth, then the chances are the bas will not be great, if you optimise the speakers for the bass then the midrange, treble and depth will be off (This is a particular problem with Floor standers), the best thing is to optimise your speakers for midrange, treble and depth, then get a subwoofer (Or preferably 2) to sort out the bass. (You can place the subwoofer's in the room to optimise the bass)

A diesel engin with 100 horse power can also have more power than a 120-130 hp petrol enigne (the old 1.9 tdi vw engine had alot more grunt than on paper bigger enignes with more horse power)
That is the exact argument I said to you a couple of months ago when I said a class A/B amp with less power may be better at driving 4Ω speakers than your class D amp.

Also, I'm not sure if the prowess of the 3020 has any relevance in this conversation.
