Wall mounted TV - Best background colour?

Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of wall mounting my Philips 9664.

I've read elsewhere that a dark background can help with contrasts, etc. Then again, I was thinking that a light wall might accentuate the Ambilight effect.

Is there any recommended wall colour that can assist in providing the optimum viewing experience?

A light, neutral colour will enable the Ambilight system to work optimally. Any other colour will affect the Ambilight giving potentially distracting results, while dark colours will of course negate the Ambilight to a great extent.
