As for the suggestion, I assume you're talking about the half-page reviews....? The reason we didn't include suggestions in that context is that room acoustics have such a huge role to play in determining final sound quality. The ideal pair of loudspeakers for one room and system might not work so well in others - and that's before you consider factors like personal taste. So we thought it better not to limit your choice (though there might be the odd suggestion in the body copy of the review).

Where we had a bit more room to spare, we gave small and large speaker suggestions on the bottom-right of the main spread reviews. These are still only suggestions, not perfect recommendations: if you're about to buy, we'd still recommend you book a proper audition with a dealer.
