UHD/4K passthrough

Have already ordered the Panasonic UB900 and just wondered if my old Okyo HT-r390 AV receiver will allow the 4K passthrough?

My system is all connected to the receiver obviously, then that is connected to the 'one connect box' of the Samsung TV.

Any replies greatly appreciated...

No, it won't allow 4K passthrough.

... the Panasonic player has two HDMI outputs, one carrying video and audio to connect directly to your TV, the other carrying only audio to connect to an AV receiver or, home cinema system. So you don't need the receiver to have passthrough, as you are completely bypassing it for the video feed to the TV, and going straight into the Samsung's 'connect box'

Thanks for the replies, I had a hunch it wouldn't due to its age but sort of hoped I wouldn't have to utilise both HDMI outputs on the UB900.
