FYI, re one of the previous thread-related questions... I've just received my copies of Toy Story 1/2 and can confirm that the English language track is DTS-HD MA ES, 5.1 with an ES matrix decode 6.1 flag.

And it sounds brilliant!

The picture looks pristine as you'd expect from a Disney/Pixar release. They set a high standard when they put out their first two blu-rays, Cars and Ratatouille, and they have continued to keep the bar consistently high. I only hope for more of their catalogue to get released as soon as possible. We have Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Monsters Inc., Up, and now the two Toy Stories, and look forward to the release of Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and A Bug's Life to complete the collection.

Good stuff, thanks, I just have to find them cheap now.

After seeing the Shrek movies to come out in 3D blu ray as a collection, can't help thinking all the toy storys will come out in 3D one day as a collection too not just Toy story 3 in 3D.

Still that does not really concern me just think it might happen.

Look at this, they are going to do toy story 1 and 2 on 3d blu ray

http://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-movies-north-america/33639-toy-story-trio-goes-3-d.html

According to here.

I feel the discounts coming on the current blu rays.

There's no mention of Blu-ray 3D in that post - it is over two years old and refers simply to the theatrical 3D re-releases of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in the run-up to the release of the third film.

Since Disney took their time releasing the films on Blu-ray, I can't see them rushing out 3D versions anytime in the immediate future (or at least not before the potential BD-3D release of Toy Story 3 late this year). So I wouldn't hold out for a hefty discount just because of this.

Indeed . Probably one of the coolest pieces of architecture I've ever seen, hard to think it was built 28 years ago.

Yup pretty gobspacking first time you see it.

IMO best viewed at night with the fountains playing between you and it.

That could be one way to get "guranteed" special packaging around the outside if you have yet purchased them
