For the above reasons, I think we should discount Silent Wedding, which means Hi-Fi Outlaw needs to choose another film, or we rank the two remaining options.

For the record, BBB, I think you've been very diligent.

Don't worry Hi-Fi Outlaw. I was stating that BBB has been attentive in his role as film club organiser, rather than the opposite.

BBB will correct me if any offence was taken, but since we've known each other on this forum for a while, I'm confident that all that's taken place is light banter.

I think HFO has been consistent with the ethos of "a film club for those members who are interested in the less mainstream side of cinema" that was mentioned in BBBs first post.

I asked my French colleagues at work if any of them had a copy of the other two French films that I could borrow, but none of them had heard of either of them. I think it confirms that mainstream film viewers, do not often view the films this film club is considering.

I can confirm that I am still waiting for LQV to arrive, but the quoted delivery date was 26th, so hopefully Saturday's the day.

I was hopping that Train De Vie had a go on this one, man, was one of the best movies that i've saw this year! Plays like a lively farce, full of fun and life, but at the same time tainted with the horror of reality.
