That's obviously impressive performance - trouble is you have to put all the gear on (I assume you do?) then go out in the wind, rain, snow etc. and navigate the diesel spills, potholes, painted road markings, manhole covers and SMIDSY drivers who seem hell bent on bringing you off the bike quite often.

Exhilarating but especially risky these days with so many drivers seemingly having missed several years of appointments with Specsavers. Been there, done that, didn't bother with the T shirt!

Did the wind, rain, and snow as a dispatch rider when I was between jobs for a few years back in the early 90's. Had the best time ever, but now at the age of 68 I'm strictly a fair weather rider only. I ride like everyone is out to kill me 🙂

I'll let you into a little secret - they probably are - or are so busy with their multi level touch screen menus, just to turn the fan up a bit or change driving profile that they don't have time to be aware of conditions or any perception of what is going on around them.

Yes I know what you mean. I was into bikes when a youngster and up to about 30 ish but then it was marriage, house, mortgage and all the trappings!

Took it up again when I retired @ 58 but the highest performing m/c I got to was a Honda NC700 DCT so called "Adventure" model! Not overly powerful but with the rapid launch and changes from the auto dual clutch box it surprised a lot of people at the traffic light Grand Prix! 😈

Also a fair weather rider only but after a few years I decided it was just getting too risky - broken bones don't mend so well with advancing years! I also managed to escape the often quoted "only two types of bikers, those that have fallen off, and those that haven't fallen of YET" so I count myself lucky. 😎

Fine, I shall take my Morgan 3 wheeler else where *flounces off* 😜

(I do not have a Morgan I’m just being a nause)
I think your "flouncing off" has made everyone feel guilty so they are not posting anything?

Ill break the ice, have you calmed down now? 😀 😉

well technically I haven’t calmed down, but only because I wasn’t mad in the first place 😅

Here’s my old Clio (the red one) it will probably be liked more than my current silent ride…

Oh I drive an EV, posted a pic of a cupra a little while back. A lot of petrol heads don’t like them on principle but the good ones are a very enjoyable drive. The Clio was like a scalpel , increadible handling but I don’t really miss it.

I don't mind or care what anyone drives - if it works for them and is pleasant to drive then job done!

The only thing I have against EVs is being forced to buy one in the near future by some misguided and ill thought out legislation!
