Clare, after you suggesting the Diana Krall Blu-Ray as a worthy watch/listen on the Home Cinema forum a few days ago, I had a lsiten to some of her music on Spotify. Liked it so I ordered 3 SACD's, the first one came through the letterbox this morning and it sounds great, crystal clear but warm sound. It's the sort of disc that my other half will have all the lights out with a few candles burning whilst she's sipping a glass of Bailey's!

Aye aye sounds like an early night and that Clare's a bit of a witch (allegedly) casting her magic spell, appropriate for this time of year.

Glad you're enjoying Diana Krall; beautifully recorded, relaxing sounds

When it gets closer to the time, check out her Christmas album- perfect for either late-night festive listening or days (or the morning after the night before, when you don't want anything with hard edges

If you enjoy Diana Krall's music, you may also enjoy Katie Melua (one of my fav artists for that type of music) ... but I am not sure if they are on blu-Ray

Yes, got all of Katie's CD's ripped to my hard drive, shame she hasn't got any SACD versions of her albums though. Norah Jones is another favourite for chilled out listening, although Come Away With Me was released as a SACD, it was aparently not quite as high a quality recording as an SACD should be, a bit of a con by the record company.

How very dare you talk about Christmas, it's not even December yet! Still, the Christmas Songs CD is only £4.98 on Amazon, so I've just ordered it ready! Thanks again.
