tests sound

hey y'all,

was wondering.. what blu ray disc do expert insert in to test out surround sound when reviewing player/speaker/amp etc?

is there a particular favourite you regs like to play to see if your setup is perfect?? are action movies like matrix, black hawk down, armaggeddon a good tester disc for visual and audio sound?

my fav disc to insert was predator (the scene where predator is camouflage and is stalking arnie and his crew, his heartbeat goes like thummp thummp thummp) lol..

what your fav? 🙂

"Kung Fu Panda" is a good choice.

I would use The Dark Knight, Toy Story 3 & Avatar.

These 3 films, especially with The Dark Knight should give you a check of the TV's motion handling ( at the start where it pans across the sky scrapers look for blurring ), colours & show the quality of sound from your amp & speakers.
