Hi Budget around £1000 to £1200 room size approx 6m x 6m
Rotel tribute, marantz, nad, bluseound power node

Speakers

Kef, mission, wharfdale, q acoustics

Just to start you should find somthing within the ranges to suite your budget

Or you could go the active speaker route and go with some klipsch 5/7/9s for example depending on space.

Unlike many other sources, turntables and their attached cartridges are less proned to poor synergy.

I would advise you to book a demo with a retailer such as Richer Sounds and listen to few different options. But demo amps with built-in phono stages as you can test that against the built-in stage on the turntable.

Slightly left field option that's excellent value:

Amp - Yamaha A-S501
Speakers - Elac DBR62

The Elacs punch way above their price point, but need a decent amp as they're a bit more difficult to drive than most budget speakers, but the Yamaha is well up to the job.

The yamaha is around £400 and the elacs £480 if you shop around online.
