Technical question for coaxial cable

I am having to extend coaxial cable inside the house rather than run a complete new cable from attic and sky dish separately.

Can anyone explain to me please the difference between RG402/U and RG405/U male connectors?

Other than being the wrong type of connector for rg6/type 100 coax cable used in aerial/satellite installations? (A quick google suggests they're the much smaller SMA connectors you see on WiFi routers etc)

What you want are F Connectors.
