Tannoy XT Range

Seems What HiFi approve of the new XT range, awarding the XT6F five stars.

As a Tannoy fan, I'm pleased to see this but also curious as to how they'd stack up against the Precision range which must also be due a refresh soon?

That said, the thing I dont like about Tannoy is you just know there will be a 'signature' or 'SE' model out within six months with a few improvements which means that I wont be rushing out just yet to buy a set.

i just looked at the specifications of them, there seems to be a bit of a mistake... as they are only 10 cm high according to WHF, did you guys miss out a zero?

Nice looking speakers though i must say & they always seemed to match the Pioneer amps very well.

Think you'll find they are 100cm high

Be interested to hear how they compare to the B&W 683 S2. They're a bit cheaper and smaller (?), and I prefer the black ash to the cherry wood, but perhaps their new technology gets them close in performance.
