Mmmmmmm...... not quite sure how you got that from what what I said...... :?

I commend WHF for their consistent and methodical approach not for their use of 'reference systems' or for that matter their heavily treated rooms.

I think both these factors skew their test results and do not transfer all that well to results in the real world.

That said, WHF is a comercial operation and as such does a pretty good job, it is not entirely their fault that some enthusiasts consider their views to be 'ex cathedra' and rely on them far too much.

I think WHF has to match the reference system value to the speaker cost to get reliable results . There is no logic to check this Tannoy speakers for example with a very expensive High-End system because no one will buy speaker that cost 1700 pound for a system that cost many times more .
