Hi,
I'm currently running a STR-DB930 and it's still very enjoyable but there's a number of things I wish to experiment with regarding multi-channel sound over HDMI, and that's well past the STR-DB930. I've stuck with the Sony because it can drive the much-loved Saba speakers (Professional 1300) that we have. The Sabas are 3.8 Ohm devices, so difficult to deal with for modern devices that seem to believe that 6 Ohm is the least they should deal with. Given that we're not going to change the speakers (they're been internally re-worked to stay current), is there an obvious way forward that spends no more than £2k and provides good sound via the Sabas?
thanks in advance,
Chris M
