Standmounts

I'm definately swapping my Kef IQ5 se for a pair of standmounts and was thinking of the MA bx2's with Atacama nexus 6i's.Would this be a comparable swap?Would my electronics be deemed bright kit to go with these speakers?

I would suggest, if the standmount urge is overwhelming, you listen to a few different brands. The IQ5s are very good speakers and the BR2s will be hard pushed to match the Kefs - you would probably have to look at something in the region of Epos M12s or EB1. Whether your nads are good enough with the aforementioned speakers or not will depend on an audition (I know EBs aren't available in shops, I was citing them as an example).

I think that's a step down.

I used to have standmounts before the Kefs and prefer the tighter punchy sound.
