Speakers with AV and Stereo Amp?

I'm discombobulated.......I have MA BR2 speakers......can I connect these to my AV receiver and a stereo amp at the same time? Or will something horrible happen if I don't monkey around with things first?

Connect them to your stereo amp and then connect your receiver (pre out) to your stereo amp.
