Speaker Cable

Hi All, Hello from NZ

I was fortunate to buy a new MF X-ray CD and XT100 amp. I also bought a Tannoy eyris3 pair of speakers, all at a great price.

I'm now ready to get some decent speaker cable that will bring out a warm, natural, but detailed sound.

How about a good interconnect? My local dealer has recommended audioquest king cobra and audioquest speaker cable.

Any advice? I don't listen for hours on end but do enjoy jazz, modern vocals and occcasional classical.

Hi Alex123,
We haven't heard the Audioquest cables as yet (working on that), but I think the Chord combination of Cobra 3 interconnect (£60) and Carnival Silver Plus (£5.50/m) would work well in your system. These cables aren't warm sounding as such, but you'll get plenty of weight and strong dynamics.
