Soundcard vs DAC

Thanks noble. Must admit im a bit wary of paying taht much for a card when i only really need the optical connection but ill probably end up doing it. am i right in thinking it has coax too?

Hello and sorry for the delay. If i'm not mistaken again to connect with coaxial you need a special adapter provided. Or the other way around. It's the same port for both though and both types are supported. I remember because it seemed strange to me when i read the manual that you could use both at the same output port.

thanks. good point that - its the same port. so you cant use coax and optical together. not that i ntended to, just thinking aloud. so, presumably, said adaptor would need its own power supply too...
