Hi guys,

I have got a budget setting with Toshiba 32RV753b+ Toshiba BD1100KB+ Amplifier Teac AR 600. The TV is connected to the blueray via hdmi and the blue ray player is connected to the amplifier via an rca cable. When I play a disc and try to amplify the sound, a lag occur between the sound coming out of the TV and the sound from my speakers. Any thoughts on how I could solve this issue? Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum Dan!

There are "delay boxes" on the market (Primare do one for example for high end set-ups and others are available) that allow you to set the video delay against the audio to match it up.

Ideally you'd use HDMI for video and audio if you were using an AV Receiver but the TEAC AR600 of course does not offer this option. Not being familiar with the Toshiba, its worth checking first if the BD player offers a time delay feature (check the manual) as some of the latest DVD/Blu Ray players do. If not, a delay box inbetween should solve the problem.
