sound bar advice..!!!

Hi,,Can anyone give me so info with regards to my Yamaha HTY-760 sound bar,,ive been told it is a wise move to purchase a sub woofer to go with it,,,,,as im very new to this any info would be much appreciated.!!!!!

Hi Rory,

I haven't heard the HTY-760, but I have a HTY 750 the sound is fine for small rooms but I had to purchase a ystf 100 sub to give it more muscle. The sound bars work well in rectangular rooms and Yamaha are the best around when it comes to this tech.

I have had my YSP30D for nearly 2 years and I use the YST-FSW100 Subwoofer which does indeed improve the cinematic experience. I believe Yamaha have now got the newer 7.1 soundbars but they are pricey.
