Andrew, if you going to use Japanese in your reply, learn katakana and hiragana,and kanji don't use Romaji! Just go into html mode and post. I get the impression you want to show you know Japan, yes you do from a book.

The irony is that the Japaneses with its keiretsu systematically in the 80s destroyed the US TV industry...bankrupt the US semi conductor industry.....they won the peace all right, right under your noses. They turned the tables. You have no idea.....they made money using your inventions and putting Americans out of business and dumping goods in the EU to put more businesses out to rot....love your trade enemy. Now its China vs US/EU on trade at the WTO. A full circle.

You spend get into debt, they save and becomes wealthy with your money.....reverse slavery..look at the UK debt mess.Japan have had trade surplus with the UK for years, whilst they don't buy anything from abroad.Remember Nakasone going on Jap TV saying -"Buy British" in the 80s.

The SC showrooms at most of the time are empty, no one is buying nothing, Is the company losing money? The scrappage scheme exist to push sells! You need to cut £200 quid off you sets. No one should buy another TV from you till you start cutting prices! Curries do better deals then you. They sold the 32 V5000 for £400, you couldn't match it and made excuses! The showrooms are vacant as a Parking lot at midnight? And why don't you match internet prices??? Why should I pay you £50 more than Amazon?

As for What Hi Fi I do not believe it is cool to promote rip off goods like £100 HDMI cable,that only your reviewers can tell the difference! How much profit is made £80? RIP OFF UK. CHINA can make it for £10! You dudes are living in Alice in fantasy land. People are in debt...save the money and get the ThatsHDMI cable for a £5. The Japanese are thrifty, Westerners spent like no tomorrow......the chicken are coming home to roost.

I didn't use any Japanese in my reply, but of course I bow to your superior knowledge of Japan, as evidenced in this thread.

As does my wife, and being Japanese she bows very well indeed.
