Sony STRDA5300ES V STRD2400ES

For the difference of +£130 I can get the 5300es (grade A) instead of the 2400es. Can anyone recommend this as I know the 5300es is an older model but I cannot stretch to the newer 5400es.

There are quite a number of reviews on this machine. I would expect it
to be sonically superior to the 2400. This was a £1200.00 machine when
first launched.

I would expect this too however I was hoping someone had some first hand experience of the 2 machines but I guess the release dates of both are too close together for anyone to have changed models alresdy.
