Sony KDL-37W5710

could anyone please give me some advice regarding the Sony KDL-37W5710.

Is it the same as the w5500? the specs seem the same. I also wont this mainly for gaming, so looking for a good responce time and good pic, not to bothered about sound although it would be a bonus.

Argos is doing this set for £499.99 and i was wondering if it worth a purchase or could someone recommend a lcd.

I have a Sony KDL-37W5500 which is a great TV, with a stunning picture when fed with an HD signal. It does sufer from some minor backlight bleed, but this is barely noticeable most of the time; unfortunately I have not used it for gamming so I can't comment on that!

As far as I can tell the KDL-37W5710 is the same set with some minor cosmetic differences to the front speaker grill finish, and was sold in some High Street chain stores as a substitute for the W5500; only Sony stores carried both sets at identical price!
