Has any body else noticed that the new firmware seems to make the player slower to load the discs because of the java content?
I have just slotted on the Avatar BR to see how the 2d to 3d conversions is on a BR (not too bad by the way) and listen to the sound on my new Apex and it took an age to load. I did not time it, but I'm betting it was a couple of minutes.
I intended buying a new player soon (3D), I was trying to track down a 770, but I won't bother if this effects other players in the range. I May have to look at the Oppo 93 instead.
