Sony 52HX903 3D Ready TV is arriving very shortly.... Too excited to type

I have had confirmation that delivery of my new TV will be with me on Thursday. This is from the first ordered batch from quite a while ago.

I was advised today that the current delivery date for sets (is set an old fashion term now??) ordered now is in September. The Sony web site has changed also the date for the End of September.

I hope so too - I am trying not to think about the money.

I think the return for the WOW factor will never be the same as the actual outlay - other than thinking to a few years back when this was around the average price for a new plasma TV.

I have a 5 year guarantee and will think about the monthly cost spread out over the next 5 years - far easier to cope with.

When you look at the price of the full SKY package, with all channels + HD is now £61 per month, which over 5 years is £3660, not so bad perhaps

I purchased it from my local Sony Store, at £2499 but ordered it in March, so managed to keep the purchase at this price. The Sony Store price is now £3499.
