Yes, i don't know why i do this? Sold my amp, got a good price and also i bought exdem so not lost out much.

ok, so the guy i was buying the tucana ii from try to pull a fast one. He stated the amp still has 3 years of warranty, i contacted leema with the serial number and found out it was purchased in 2009.

i am negotiating with another dealer for the same amp. If we don't get anywhere Than its looking like an exdem arcam fmj a39.

Change for change's sake?

Still, hope all works out and that the upgrade is worth it.

Didn't you say yesterday?

"I contacted Mellory (1 of the founder of leema) about the warranty and he responded to my mail in 15 mins, gave all the information i needed. I mean, this is some service."

*good*

Then you'll want to upgrade your speakers. *dance4*

Refurb is good, especially if Leema has worked on it. Mine came back sounding better than when it left.

cheers mate.

mind you, this is a blind buy, i haven't seen the amp in flesh let alone hear it.

Not heard any bad reviews or complaints. Most leema owners love them so you can get different speakers to go with them lol although thise bws will appreciate the extra juice i bet.

I know Animesh won't want to read this but...

Leemas are very versatile when it comes to speakers: Joelsim has his Tucana with Kudos floorstanders. Voodoodoctor who owns the Tucana powered MA Platinum PL100. He's since upgraded the amp to Leema Pyxis with the same speakers. Another poster, Inter_Voice, who hasn't been on here for while, owned Spendor SA-1 with the Pulse and then the Tucana.

Since owning my Pulse I've owned MA RS6 and now PMC. I've also dem'd MA GS10s, Totem Arros, Spendor SA-1 and A5s. Quite frankly it's hard to find fault with any speakers I've tested and owned.

Leema produce very good all-rounders. Speaker matching is a complete doddle with the Welsh wonders.

i heard Leema and B&W never match well. A complete trainwreck. But let's wait for the OPs audition.

I almost purchased a pair of B&W 805S before turning to PMCs. There was no reason other than I couldn't find a pair of 805s at the right price.

i read a review on some hi-end interconnects and speaker cable (£500-700 PM) on avs forum and strangely enough, they were using tucana amp and bw 804d speakers for the review.
