...and all I can say is:

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I was flabbergasted at how good a telly's PQ can be, out-of-the-box - and I haven't tried a blu-ray movie yet. Don't have a 3D movie so haven't tried that yet as well.

Smart features are neat and easy to use, though the Internet is a bit sluggish, though that maybe due to my wi-fi router location. Working on it.

All in all, very happy with the purchase indeed 🙂

The largest ST60 we get in the UK is the 55", so you're very lucky to have the option to buy it!

This years Panasonics do seem to be really good across the board

But especially your top-of-the-range TX-P60ZT65B, Mr Malarky!

indeed I am, as off two months ago (Kuro before that). 🙂

There's a few guys on the forum have gone for a 2013 panny model and so far everyone seems very happy with the result, and I think SoSJ has his eyes on a 65VT sometime later in the year.

How are the smart features on the st60 compared to the equivalent samsungs?

Sadly, not up to par...I don't live in the UK so maybe there the features are better on your side. Outside of the standard stuff - Facebook, etc. - it's just a load of stuff I would hardly glance at.Don't have Netflix, for example.

However, the main attraction is the PQ, and it is magnifacent. I caught an HD broadcast of Skyfall and it blew me away!
