Sky+ to yamaha dsp-ax863se

Hi

After reading this months super test i rushed out and bought a yamaha dsp-ax 863se

amp and was wondering will this improve the picture on a sky+ box with its upscaling, if so what cable should I use

as there is only scart, s-video and optical to choosed from.

S video for picture - will be upscaled to 1080p and optical for audio - DD 5.1 when it is transmitted.
