Sky HD and Freesat HD

I currently have a multi-rrom set up using the sky platform for freesat. Following the demise of Setanta I have decided to subscribe to Sky Sports HD. To have Sky HD in both rooms requires a multiroom subscription which I don't particulary want to pay as in reality we only ever watch one TV. So I was hoping to install Freesat HD only in the second room. Can anyone advise whether this arrangement will work?

Many thanks

yetholm,I can`t see there being a problem, I believe you will have to change LNB to a Quad and run the respected cable from that to what ever room you require,

Indeed it will work as long as you have a quad LNB on your dish.
Two existing cables already go to your Sky HD, so simply run two more from the LNB to the FreeSat HD box.
In reality you need only one if you don't have a recorder, but it's probably better to run two cables while you're at it in case you decide upgrading to a FreeSat PVR in furure.

Both Sky and FreeSat transmit from the same cluster of Astra sats so the dish will receive both services.
