I have a problem......... I am limited to the depth I can go for my system.

So I am trying to find a good av receiver that is no deeper than 38cm. This needs to include the space for any connectors as well. To save you getting your tape measures out, in needs to be not much deeper than normal separates.

Any ideas?

Hi,

The buyers guide within the pages of the magazine has dimensions for equipment.

I looking for a quick answer really as to what to put in the short list, being lazy I dont want to have to trawl through loads of stuff.

The reason I ask is that the Father-in-law managed to blow a channel on my Arcam A85 / P80 set up. Now I dont know if I should repair or replace!

Any other av amps fit the bill?

Not that I can immediately find - other than the much cheaper Cambridge 340R - but I haven't got access to the database from here, so can't do a quick compare.

I'd certainly look into repairing the Arcam though, could be just a fuse - Arcam customer services are v. helpful, mail them on support@arcam.co.uk

Sending them an emoan now.

Much cheaper isnt doing the quality sound I need I'm affraid.

Thanks

Here, here, but what else might be on the list given that I have just got a ticket for tonights draw!
