Screen Burn on Plasma

Not really my day for me with my TV recently......

Have a Sony 550 bluray player, and when the PS3 style menu is on for a few minutes (1-5 mins) it leaves a image burn on my TV

It dissapears after turning on Virgin for a while

Though......should this be happening after a few seconds of having that menu up, which is has done!!!! arghh!!!

If it disappears it's image retention, and nothing to worry about.

how high is your contrast turned up ??

ok , i notice a little image retention when i have the contrast set high while gaming , dont see it much during normal viewing (using the , cinema setting ) unless ive left a static image onscreen for a while , and it goes away as soon as i change channel , i dont find it a problem really ...
