Samsung Series 6 LCD LE32B650 audio visual sync problems

Hi Please HELP

Just got my tv to set up to external speakers via RCA connections. Problem is the sync of audio and visual is out of time. very annoying and off putting as this tv need external audio to match the quality picture.

Can you advise how to solve this problem, before i go mad?

Do you mean the sound from the TV is out-of-sync with DVD/Blu-ray sound or with normal TV station sound?

I have also just purchased a Samsung LE32B650 and am having audio visual sync problems via the RCA connections.

Looking at the user manual they only seem to describe connection to a home cinema system via the optical audio jack.

Has anyone tried this to see if it solves the problem.

As you say it is very frustrating.

hi

the external sky audio rc sync is out with tv.....i have been looking on V/A forums and it seems its a common problem! when the samsung engineer came out he said it was only usually apparent with digital out rather than analog sound. i believe AV amps have a setting where you can delay the audio/visual sync so both are in time but i dont want to buy another av amp!

4 weeks later still no answer from the samsung engineer...this is not good enough...i carried out a lot of research for a new television..even noted that the tvs sound was poor on the reviews ..i thought it wouldnt matter, but, if it cant sync the external amp to the picture that def is a problem..

I wonder whether there is a firmware available to fix the bug ...just need the engineer to fix it...or i will return the tv, whats the point of having an excellent picture if its not in sync witht the sound!!?

DONT BY THIS TV IF YOU WANT SOME SORT OF CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE....

Hi

I had a similar experience but was using a Freesat PVR. There is a Sound Synch adjustment in the menu of the Humax, may be the same on the Sky box Humax. I am using digital out from the Humax.

This is an issue that relates supposedly to tv sync between Sky HD box via hdmi and the tv.

It is common and you can go into your sky set up, then sound settings and change the visual delay bar to match the lipsync - i used the news channel as it allows you to watch a channel and change settings at the same time.

If you have issues with bluray and other connections then i regret your issue may be bigger than the usual sky set up tweak.

crusaderlord...thanks but as noted its rca audio out..and sd not hd sky and i am not using hdmi.....i currently have sky audio rca out to amp in...i have previously used tv rca out to amp in.....still the same....

the audio internal tv speakers is in sync????so this would mean that the sky box is in sync but the processing from the tv is not in sync and needs to be changed in the service menu....but the samsung engineers dont seem to have a bug fix for this and havent even bothered to contact me to advise after 8 weeks what the problem is!!

i have checked on av forum and it is noted that the audio delay can be changed in the service menu..but to do this will invalidate my guarantee!! but to be honest whats the point of a guarantee if the samsung engineer cant fix the problem on a new tv!!!

Im getting back to this thread.Since I own 2 stereo amps I have no intention of buyding a Av amp. But this thread a few months ago got me wandering if this problem of RCA on the Tv is prone to cause sound lag also.this would rend useless an Stereo amp.Tonydan have you solved your problems? does anyone else have had the same trouble ? with other tv's?
