Living where I do, a few miles west of Taunton, I'm only around 10 minutes drive from Choice Stationary and their cartridges work perfectly in my Canon printer.
No doubt most of these third party ink supplies work absolutely fine.

My older out of warranty Canon printer, to be sold eventually. Worked mostly OK with third party inkjets. I usually listen to comments from other customers, if the health check is good, I'll go ahead and order.

The only proviso, I won't risk using third party supplies on my new printer, don't want to invalidate the warranty.

Apologies for me going slightly off the subject but I only wish they can make colour laser printers to the same quality of the finest inkjets, apart from Dye-sublimation printing which are costly, inkjets provide the best results for photography. The realism and resolution is the highest compared to other alternatives.

I have a Brother mono laser I use exclusively for documents and office work. Inkjets quality for printing black and white documents are inferior to lasers and very slow, they're a bit rubbish for productivity and costs much higher than toner replacements and less value.
I use third party toners, they work fine! 🙂

Took my last printer to the local tip about ten years ago.. Wouldn't have one in the house these days....

On the very seldom occasion I need to print something (and i genuinely can't recall the last time that was) I'd go to the local community space/library or do it at work

Yes, that’s what I have worked out, do I actually need a printer anymore…

...I've never owned a printer - other than a Petite typewriter and a date stamp as kids toys.
I'm only just on my first ever computer - a 'nothing special' Lenovo laptop that cost around £270 and has lasted 10 years so far - with no problems.......💥

But this is room 101, so I'd like to put in everyone known as an 'influencer' and all those people stupid enough to be influenced.

I don't know if this has already been discussed but motor insurance companies 🤬Renewal quote for my car. £405 down from £455 last year. Go on comparison sight last night and get a quote for £330 from another company. Ring my current provider today to cancel and oh we can do it for £280!!! So if you can afford to do it for £280 why the renewal quote for £405 in the first place

I'm with LV, I should change every year to get a better quote but the hassle for the new insurer to get copy of your non bonus claim from old insurer can sometimes be a nightmare.

I'm not sure it's a game they play to put you off going to another broker.

Because they hope you will just let the renewal go ahead, without shopping around, as many people still do.
I know that's the reason and I nearly stayed with the other insurance company that I started with last night, I only rang the previous l company because now it's automatic renewal unless you ring them to stop. It used to be ring them to say yes we want to stay with you. I was thinking I spent all that time last night setting up a new insurance do I want to cancel it less than 24 hours after setting it up and do I want to give the previous company my business again when they could offered a better deal right from the word go. In the end yes I do want to save another £50. 🤣

My dad bought this printer in the end yesterday:

Great deal for anyone looking for a bargain printer.
I keep looking at printers with ink tanks and wondering if I should get one. Currently paying for instant ink and never use all the pages per month. Very crafty of HP the level below there aren't enough pages and to buy extra per month would cost more than the level I'm on.

If you're doing mono printing, laser printers are the most cost effective.
If you're just want to print documents and labels in colour, go with the colour laser.

If you're printing photography, go for mid to top range Canon or Epson Inkjet printers.

You see many low cost inkjet printers stacked up in Currys but it's false economy, these often come with low inkjet reservoirs and to replace them in high frequency will cost you a fortune over a course of time.
My laser is more than a year old and my toner cartridge is still 70% full!

Printerland has every kind of printers that will suit your needs. 🙂

I've been there with cheap printers. The first printer I bought when we bought our first PC 25 years ago was an Olivetti fantastic printer but when the ink ran out. Yeah cheaper to buy another printer.
