Please no more bearded Fat Ladies dressed up in winged faery costumes, please! Ha ha haI agree but, on the other hand, the whole thing seems a whole lot of fun, for those that like it.
That's certainly true and always has been....the whole thing seems a whole lot of fun, for those that like it.
That's certainly true and always has been.
It's never been meant to be taken too seriously of course.
But politics and wokeness have taken it to new levels of patheticness.
I thought Russia had been excluded 🤔On a more sombre note, how can they allow the nation whom I'm not allowed to criticise, entry into the competition?
I don't condone any violence in the world or have preference over ethnicity, religion or culture but this doesn't sit well with me. 🤔
Thanks Gray, my little rant is over and my lips are zipped, I want to P on the fire, not ignite it 🙂I thought Russia had been excluded 🤔
Maybe the EBU organisers would justify the inclusion by saying they're attempting to keep politics out of it - but the majority of people would surely have your attitude, that they should be excluded.
In the interest of balance though, I will point out that a forum member here once said that the UK 'backed the wrong side' by supporting Ukraine 🤨
Tesco's Fresh bakery section is much better. Sainsbury's is also equally good.TESCO.
I buy their own brand Bramley apple pies, 6 for £1.29 (reasonabley priced, due entirely to Aldi).
Today (again) Mr Kipling version marked down from the out of the question price of £3 to £1.75, making them appear to be a bargain.
But, every time the Kiplings go on offer, their own brand, coincidentally become 'temporarily out of stock'.
They must think people don't notice their slimy tricks.
How I wish everyone intending to make the £1.29 purchase refuses to pay the extra 46p out of principle.
And no, I don't think the Kiplings are worth extra.

Software always seems to be an after thought with many manufacturers. The poor quality of the software/firmware provided in consumer electronics like TVs. Buggy doesn’t even begin to describe it. Yet we have become conditioned to accept that is part of progress.
