I buy their own brand Bramley apple pies, 6 for £1.29 (reasonabley priced, due entirely to Aldi).
Today (again) Mr Kipling version marked down from the out of the question price of £3 to £1.75, making them appear to be a bargain.

But, every time the Kiplings go on offer, their own brand, coincidentally become 'temporarily out of stock'.

They must think people don't notice their slimy tricks.
How I wish everyone intending to make the £1.29 purchase refuses to pay the extra 46p out of principle.

And no, I don't think the Kiplings are worth extra.

Tesco's Fresh bakery section is much better. Sainsbury's is also equally good.

The poor quality of the software/firmware provided in consumer electronics like TVs. Buggy doesn’t even begin to describe it. Yet we have become conditioned to accept that is part of progress.
Software always seems to be an after thought with many manufacturers.

PCs for example, the bio updates are always ongoing. One little enhancement here can sometimes create a problem elsewhere, same with the operating system. Still, it is possible with Windows OS to revert to the last recovery point or go back and reinstall the old Bios (if that was the root of the problem) on your motherboard.

I'll be great if everything was done right the first time!

Were you to sell it on eBay, you're likely to get the price you paid for or may be more!

If you are wise you don't sell anything on EBay anymore .....
It’s not going to be sold, I’m very happy with it and, I closed my eBay account a few years ago, too many ripoff merchants, both buyers and sellers.

eBay have recently changed their policies and sellers are getting a raw deal.

Your income is held in balance by eBay, which is offset against future purchases or if you wish to make a withdrawal from your account, the process isn't seamless. So many layers to do something that should be simple.

It's a shame there isn't a better alternative to eBay.

Amen to that.

We've had to use it with a few of my dad's things, and credit where it's due, it's otherwise worked very well. I've never been messed around by anyone on eBay.

I used eBay for my late mum’s watch but didn’t get any bids, so I went to cash converters and got my asking price! I have used eBay a lot in the past but just seems to be so complicated now. I did sell a TV and turned out it had a few marks on the screen, so the buyer requested a refund, which I gave him straight away but then had to use AnyVan to collect the TV, and it put me of selling it a bit on there. I should give it another try but I am wary.

I do have some finger prints marks on my current TV which has created a big mark at the top of the screen and now I think I shouldn’t use eBay to sell it which I have made several attempts to buy a new TV but cancelled in the end, because I don’t think I would get anything near the asking price now. It doesn’t affect the screen when on though and I have tried everything to get the mark off. I have decided to keep it for now.

I use Facebook too and that has gone pretty well.

One little tip on eBay, disclose everything about the product you're selling, so there'll be no recourse for them to seek a refund. So, do take photo's of those scratches.

Also, state clearly and boldly in the body of your text. Not Refundable.
One caveat this in no way encroaches their consumer rights, for example if the product is faulty but you state it works fine (hypothetically speaking, not stating this as a fact 🙂), they do have the right for a full refund despite your disclaimer.

Don't let that put you off. Somebody messed with me when I sold my Dali Zensor 1 speaker. The buyer claimed the tweeter was damaged in the transit but I suspect he wanted my good tweeter for his broken tweeter.
How I knew, well Dali's woofers are like finger prints, mine had a long line, appearing like a scratch. So when I had them back it wasn't there!
Always good to take photo of the serial number. 🙂

I didn’t realise the TV had marks on the screen because I couldn’t see them in my room. But when we were carrying the TV out he did notice a mark on the screen and I saw it too.

With my current one here’s the mark:

It’s literally the palm of my hand where I carried the TV by myself. I have tried all sorts to get it off but can’t.

And you can see the screen with a TV picture on:

Actually on some pictures with the TV on you can see the mark, so I have decided never to sell. Thanks guys.
