resume playback on dbp-s350

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if they have been able to resume playback on a film using the Sony dbp-s350. So far I've tried about 10 films and they all come up with the message playback prohibited at this point and they will only start at the beginning of the film.

When i look in the options menu there is no PLAY title as shown in the manual.

Any help would be great.

not much help i know, but have got the same problem on my sony bdp-s550,

maybe the discs, not really sure

Hi,

The disc's I've tried are

national treasure 2, the bank job, cloverfield, spiderman 1 & 2 & 3, heroes season 2, rambo, casino royale, batman begins, jumper and topgun.

if anyone has got them to work on another player please let me know.
