Rega R1 Wall Bracket: How Does It Work?!!

Hi! Probably a totally dumb question but does anyone have any knowledge/thoughts how these Rega wall brackets shown on this page here actually hold the speaker in place? Thanks.

I had trouble figuring it out too. Found a picture on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rega-R1-Wall-Bracket-for-speakers-of-Rega-turntable-/181315049358?nma=true&si=wx%252FFY7Tzt5pwVfAVI8pEplGwYL0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 it seems that the bracket comes in 4 pieces, 2 per speaker, one piece is fixed to the wall and the other to the back of the speaker. The 2 are then bolted together. Whether that's better than something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/B-Tech-BT77-Ultragrip-Clamping-Loudspeaker/dp/B004DCAOHK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_1 is questionable, especially if you don't want to make holes in the back of your speakers

My local dealer advised me NOT to buy the brackets, even though it would have been an income for him.

I use LEGO instead, instead of black ravioli.
