Been looking at various brushes and fluids online and the choice is a little bit much for me to take in.

I'm really just after a few bits to keep my records in top condition and spruse up some 2nd records, will a carbon brush and cleaning fluid do the job or are they not worth the bother.

Opinions/advice/suggestions greatly appreciated

I always use and recommend a carbon-fibre brush and /or anti-static cloth. Use it before playing each LP. You do not need to spend a lot as they all do pretty much the same job, just find something on Amazon or from a dealer.

If your LP's are in a less than reasonable condition then a pad-type brush with cleaning fluid that is applied to the pad can be used occasionally.

For a really good clean-up get a Knosti Antistat wet-cleaning device or see if you have a dealer in your area that has a professional cleaning machine.
