Recommendations on headphone amp?

I think the Headphone section is the best place for this, rather than the main Hi Fi section. Hope I'm right.

Have a Leema Antila IIs CD player and a Chord 2650 amp. The amp doesn't have a headphone socket, so I need to buy a headphone amp and hook it up to the Chord via the tape outputs.

My headphones are Denon AHD 7000. Musical tastes are general rock and pop.

Budget is a max of £500 and preferably a bit less.

WHF reviews suggest the Lehmann Rhinelander (Black Cube probably out of my price range, unless I find a 2nd hand one), or Fidelity HPA 100.

Does anyone have other suggestions?

I'm a bit intrigued by some of the Far East brands on eBay. For example, does anyone have any experience of Little Dot or Yulong? Do they offer more value for money?

Any advice appreciated.

I have just ordered a HPA-200 from Fidelity Audio and will post a mini review when I have received it.

I often speak to Brent at Fidelity Audio, he's a great guy and very knowledgeable. He simply doesn’t make crap equipment so if you choose the HPA-100 you will be getting a very nice piece of kit.

Not sure about the 'far east' brands on eBay but if there motorcycles are anything to go by I would stay well clear.

You may consider Yulong A18 which is Class A design. I am using it now with my HD 800. Perfect matches.

I also got a Fidelity Audio HPA-200 SE. It is very neutral and the performance is similar to Yulong A 18 but not as warm.
