Reccomendations please....

My work freind has asked for some advice on a new T.V, the poor lads not got much coin as he's just had his first baby.

He wants a 42 inch full HD TV, and hes got £400 to spend, i told him he may have to go a little over that.

Any reccomendation's? anyone bought a such TV recently...

check out this thread , the op mentions a panasonic 42g10 from amazon , as new for £460 ..

i presume such a tv would have been returned after being unboxed , if so it should be perfect and is sold with a warranty , its last years model , but a great tv , at the price , i dont think you would find better ..

has freesat too btw , might be handy ..

The Panasonic 42G10 on Amazon has gone up in price to nearly £700 brand new.

Seems cheap for what it is or you can pay another £40.00 and have a Plasma instead from LG: http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/lg/42ld450/lg-42ld450

Have not been on here for a while and then i stumbled across a war waging on the threads today... was a long read Max, good though but we wont go there. lol.
