question regarding sony BDV-IT1000.

Hello everyone,

i recently bought a sony bdv-it1000 system which i like alot due to the convenient size of the speakers.

i just heard about sonys plans to release the bdv-iz1000 which has 3d playback built in and some of sonys other cinema systems have support for firmware upgrade.

so my question is does anyone know if my bdv-it1000 will be firmware upgradeble to play 3d content.

As far as I know only the new models are either 3D-capable or software-upgradable. Sony has made no announcement regarding older models.

nuts.. thanks for the quick response, bit of a shame about that. ive got me ps3 which ive read will be 3d capable but cant help feel that i could of hung on a lil longer for the bdv-iz1000 revision.

do you know if any of the whathifi gang have had any hands on time with the older version (bdv-it1000) and what there opinions may be on it? i dont think there has been a review.

No, we didn't get a review sample of that one, as far as I know.
