Question for Andy Clough/ What Hi Fi Test Team

Hi,Have a Question re BBC HD. In as much as while watching this morning on my panasonic dmr-pwt 500,they were broadcasting a 3D Test.This was showing as two identical frames on my non 3D equipped 50 inch Pana TV.

Question is when the Beeb actually broadcast a 3D Programme am I going to get this effect during it or will they simulcast a 2D feed along side it?Or do I need to adjust the settings on my player if so how,Thanks

I suspect it will do as it did for the Strictly... final, which was shown in 3D. BBC One HD carried the 2D version, and BBC HD the 3D.

Thanks Andrew,but will this still apply when BBC HD becomes BBC 2 HD I wonder?
