Quad l-ites or Tannoy f1 sets? (with onkyo 605 reciever)

Failing to get a response in the home cinema section i thought i would try this section:

Long time reader, first time poster. What is your current opinion, which speaker set is better, the quad l-ites or the tannoy custom f1's?

just to be sure, these tannoys are the same, right?

Or is there a speaker better then both of these around the £500-£750 price point?

Will be used for gaming and movies, and as aformentioned with onkyo 605 reciever,

Yes they are, and yes they'd work well with the 605. I reckon they'd give a bit more clout than the L-ites, good though the Quads are.

Interesting to hear your thoughts, i am planning to get the tannoys but is it worth the extra £100?
