I am torn between these three speakers packages:

1) Wharfedale
- Wharfedale 9.1 for front
- Wharfedale 9.0 for rear
- Wharfedale CS for centre

2) Quad L-ite
- Quad L-ite speakers for front and rear
- Quad L-ite centre for centre

3) Tannoy Mercury F1
- Tannoy Mercury F1 for front
- Tannoy Mercury FC Custom for centre
- Tannoy Mercury FR Custom for rear

All of the above will be using:
- Denon AVR-1909 or Onkyo TX-SR606 for A/V Receiver
- Velodyne CHT-10Q for subwoofer

Kindly advise anything on above configurations.

Thanks.

Ive got the Quad lites and Onkyo 606 and love them, with smaller traditional and style packages the sub is more important than ever as it brings the package together. Not heard the other speakers so can help you on those, but from other forums the Quadlites are preferred to the Tannoy mercurys and last spot would be the Wharfedales. What kind of budget do you have because the Yamaha AX863se is only £495 and won an award when tested at £800 so that would be a good Purchase. Also you can buy the larger range in the Quads or the Tannoy F4 customs floorstanders and perhaps use them or go 7.1.
