Q Acoustics 2070Si dead frequency range

I have got this sub working quite well but I woundering if anyone alse is getting vertually no sound between 43hz and 58hz (using a frequncy generation App on my Android) and if there is a setting in the sub to bring this out. The sub can not be easily moved but I dont beleive this to be a room acustics issue as I have moved around and this range sounds dead.

The sound from 30hz to 40hz is fine. The sound from 60hz to 200hz+ is also fine despite saying it only goes as high as 150hz! As the missing frequancy is only a few hertz it is hardly noticable but it is in the region of some low bass guitar notes. The unit has a lots of settings on the back and wounder if it could be one of these combinations.

Hi Johan,

there is no real reason I would know why there is a dead spot in the sub. It might still be a room problem, but could also be a ground loop problem in your setup....your missing range is spot on at 50Hz....that's the frequency of the power line.
