PS3 & Xbox360 thru amp to plasma ..help needed

About to but a Sony All in One ( ie Ht-SS1300 / HT-DDWG800) to compliment my new Panasonic PX85 but need to know how to connect up my xbox & PS3.

Will I be able to connect both to Sony amp via HDMI & then HDMI from amp to TV.......will this carry both video & sound ?

I take it that your 360 is a newer model with HDMI, if this is the case then it should be a simple case of connecting both the PS3 and 360 to your Sony system via HDMI then a single HDMI to your TV. You will need to run a OPTICAL output from the 360 to your amp tho to get 5.1 sond from games as AFAIK the 360 does not output this via HDMI.
