PS3, missing a trick?

I was browsing the old playstation network the other day, downloading whatever took my fancy, when I had a bit of a brainstorm, as you do. With such a network set up, and having already provided a lot of Blu Ray film trailers over it, why isn't there a movie shop feature on the Playstation Network? And if this is implemented, will I get paid for the idea?

I think there is one in development as part of Sony's upcoming HOME online enviroment.
