I'm really sorry for asking this but I'm stumped! I've just got the Denon 1909 and hooked it up (via HDMI) to my PS3 (BD audio settings set to bitstream) yet, I still don't seem to be getting any HD sound? Any ideas? I've been through all the settings on both devices and can't see what I'm missing. In theory, I thought as long as the PS3 is set to bitstream then the 1909 should just pick it up? The Denon light to signify HD sound doesn't light up so is it not getting through or just that the PS3 is doing the decoding so the 1909 doesn't show it?
I read through all the forums and can't see anything that I haven't already done. When checking audio settings on the PS3 (http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/audiooutput.html ) it doesn't actually list DTS HD or DD HD but just the regular version DTS and Dolbt Digital. Is it actually supported?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
