was wondering if anyone can help me - my projector seems to have developed a fault - once its been on for say about an hour or more the image chromes and starts to flicker and you end up with what I can only describe as blocky images with bands of colour that just shine like really bad early lcd tvs did in shadow detail - this only kicks in after some warm up so I am thinking its the hdmi board over heating just wondered if anyone has ever comes across this before

its def not my amp as tried both the main and sub outputs and doesn't matter which source I select. Also connected those to the tv which shows no issues - also changed the hdmi cable and same fault exists and only with the projector - the bulbs got about 1000 hours on it but i don't think its that thats failing as the image is uniformed and bright and works fine for about an hour or so - the projector is not overheating as the fan does not speed up and I get no warning lights - any ideas

was going to connect blu-ray player directly to the projector this eve next time it screwed up just to make sure it was def not the amp - however i unplugged the projector last night and when I plugged it back in tonight has now been on for about 4 hours and not had the same problem as before - it does appear now and again when i change inputs on the amp and the projector has to re handshake - when the image appears for thr first 2 seconds the image is screwed up but then everything catches up and has been fine - all very strange obviously something wrong somewhere have emailed optoma support and waiting a response
