Greetings,

This is my first post so forgive me if i get things wrong...

Ive been looking to get hold of the Samsung le32b650 but on a lot of sites its not available but the le32b652 is.... Is there a difference? Is it a facelift model and will it work/look the same as the previous model?

Many thanks

James

I believe that they are the same TV, only different groups (ie. Currys, Comet) are selling models with slightly different fascias, hence the different codes.

Currys currently have it at £499, which is £100 cheaper than I have seen it elsewhere. Although when I tried to buy one on Sunday in my local Curry's they said they had no stock (this was 5 minutes after they had tried to sell me bluray, home cinema and Sky HD with it!!)

Hi James,

The only difference with the le32b652 model is the colour of the bezel that surrounds the screen. The normal 650 model is black but there are 2 other models available exclusively at other retailers, these are the 651 and 652 models, one has a silver finish on the bezel and the other a scarlet red colour. The colour shades only appear on the bottom part of the bezel where the touch controls are situated, apart from that they are all exactly the same tv in every other way as the 650.

Hope this helps!

Fantastic, thanks guys, thats cleared that up.

Would there be anything you could recommend at that price point that would do at least 100hz with 24fps and thats got a good freeview picture on it? The le32b650 i was led to believe is one of the best at this price but i was told an LG (cant remember which) gave it a run for its money. I was looking at Toshiba but i not long ago found out theyre stopping making flat pannels so i will avoid them.

Thanks again all.

Hi James,

If i were you i would just go for the Samsung you have mentioned, i can't find anything else comparable with the same features as the Samsung, i've seen some decent LG sets of late but the Samsung is the best choice i'm sure. You could of course look backwards a little and see if you can pick up a bargain on a previous model but to be honest the review on What Hi-Fi is so positive about this set that i think it would be foolish to ignore such trusted advice! Take the plunge and get the Samsung, if it helps i got the Samsung LE40B650 a week ago and i am very happy, i made the right choice in the end.
